The world of “The Lodge” takes place in Alabama, home of urban legends. Behind the mask of trees and mountains, something evil lurks. Something has caused the animals to change, to grow and worst of all…to desire the taste of human flesh.
While most of the populace is unaware of the growing epidemic, there are a few who stand watch…a few who are ready to fight back. Armed with home made explosives, modified weaponry and unbelievable skill…these secret hunters are all that stand between the wrath of nature’s beasts, and the lives of the innocent.
Brothers Book and Doug Kaiser are at the heart of the fight. As kids, they witnessed the slaughter of their parents and other members of their hunting lodge. The beast that killed them was like nothing they had seen, it was like a creature straight out of a nightmare! The police wrote it off as an animal attack…but the Kaiser brothers knew better.
Now grown, they use the old hunting lodge as their headquarters. Using their jobs as animal control experts, they secretly hunt and kill the mutants who lay in wait. Along the way, they are recruiting new members for the lodge…most are unorthodox at best.
The bottom line is this…
When the creatures of the night come calling.
When our place on the food chain is in dispute.
